Vinted Shoppers Share Anger Over Size Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has updated its size classifications for female and kids' apparel failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Changes
Previously, the sizes had both one number and one letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Shopper Experiences
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million members, with 18 million British users.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: earlier, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options following member complaints.
